UPN offers its members much more than a freight delivery service, acting as a partner to ensure that members improve their business performance. We have developed a range of professional services, all designed to help our members improve their business and reduce costs.

Customer service team

An experienced team on hand, devoted to solving all day to day issues that may arise.

Business development team

Telesales and field sales professionals, devoted to helping depots attract and win new customers.

Compliance team

Experienced logistics experts, working with depots to help them develop new procedures and processes to improve service.

Depot management systems

Web based systems to help depots manage their business, without investing in software or expensive on-going support.

Depot training

Full on site training for all new members, with refresher courses provided as members grow and take on new staff. Members are supported with regular in-house seminars and workshops, to keep them fully abreast of new UPN developments.

Marketing support

UPN provides on-going investment in branding, advertising and direct mail activities to ensure that members have access to the highest quality sales and marketing materials. By operating a co-operative approach to marketing, members get the investment and support they require to grow.

Management input

UPN members work in close partnership with the UPN management team and three members sit on the UPN board, as Non Executive Directors. The UPN Consultative Committee includes representatives from each region and meets regularly with the UPN management team. UPN also hosts regular meetings with each region of the network, ensuring that UPN continues to meet the evolving needs of its members at every level.
